More light is being shed on the Alberta government’s nearly $200 million investment into downtown Edmonton. The money comes from budget 2025 with the goal of taking the land surrounding the Ice District and Rogers Place to the next level. But as Jasmine King reports, some Edmontonians are concerned their taxpayer money is funding more private projects.
