Nova Scotia to invest more money into intimate partner violence support

March 7, 2025
Following a meeting with organization leaders back in January, the premier has announced additional funding to tackle intimate partner violence in Nova Scotia.
The investment includes $17.9 million to stabilize operations at ten transition houses across the province. As Ella Macdonald reports, for family members of the women who have lost their lives, this announcement is an important step forward.
