Workshop West Playwrights’ Theatre is honoured to launch a brand-new show called “Tomatoes Tried to Kill Me But Banjos Saved My Life.” The play is a heartfelt passion project that began after Keith Alessi received a life-threatening cancer diagnosis. Through his show and his love of music he has been on a mission to raise money for causes close to his heart. Keith and the show’s director Erika Conway joined us on Global News Morning Edmonton to talk about it.
