It been more than a decade since indigenous teen Colton Crowshoe was strangled to death and had his body thrown into a storm pond after a 2014 house party in Calgary’s northeast. On Friday, the courts handed down their sentence to his killer Wiley Provost. Calgary Police arrested and charged Provost with second-degree murder in 2022, but he later plead guilty to manslaughter.
