Pigeons are the world’s oldest domesticated bird and were once welcomed into people’s families as pets. Now, “The Pigeon Nest,” an animal rescue organization in Ontario, wants to show Canadians how much there is still to learn about these misunderstood birds. Miranda Anthistle reports.
