Gender identity policies in schools have been a hot, political topic in New Brunswick, as well as in two other provinces where elections are fast approaching. A new study out of the University of British Columbia (UBC) is showing that the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI) program, which is designed to make schools safer for students of all sexual orientations and genders, is working. Neetu Garcha reports.
