Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the United Nations (UN) on Friday, saying that Israel is in pursuit of peace despite fighting for its life in the face of “savage enemies” who want its annihilation. In his speech, Netanyahu held up two maps of the region. One was titled “Blessing,” in which Netanyahu said Israel is working with partners to build infrastructure. The other was “The Curse,” referring to Iran, Iraq and Syria.
