One person is dead after a gunman hijacked a bus in downtown Los Angeles, leading police on a one-hour pursuit throughout the city before officers were able to stop the bus and take the suspect into custody. The bus driver and a second passenger, who had barricaded themselves at the back of the bus, were unharmed.
