Health Canada approved use of the Moderna SpikeVAX COVID-19 vaccine on Tuesday, marking the first shot to be approved to target the KP.2 variant of SARS-CoV-2. According to some provinces, the vaccine is likely to be delivered to jurisdictions in October, which would be in time for fall vaccination campaigns. As Sean Previl reports, some doctors say given the timing, people should consider getting their shot alongside their flu vaccine.
