Monday marks two years since Mahsa Amini’s death at the hands of Iran’s oppressive regime. Amini was allegedly arrested for violating the country’s headscarf law and died in police custody. Ottawa responded with sanctions on Iran saying it would expel senior Iranian officials, but as Nathaniel Dove reports, there is little transparency as to whether that goal has been achieved.
