As typhoon Yagi continues its path of destruction through southeast Asia, the death toll surpassed 30 on Sunday – more than a dozen people were confirmed dead in Vietnam. Despite the tropical cyclone’s waning power, more than three million people have been left without power and Vietnamese authorities are warning of torrential rain that could trigger flooding or landslides.
