Queen of New Westminster ferry out of service until October

BC Ferries says the Queen of New Westminster will now be out of service until October. A mechanical issue was first identified on the vessel this past Tuesday cancelling numerous sailings between Swartz Bay and Tsawwassen for the week. BC Ferries now says one of the vessel’s propellers has been sheared off from the propulsion shaft.
