Toronto homicide detectives are probing the city’s latest murder. A man in his 30s was gunned down in the alleyway behind Eglinton Avenue West early Sunday morning in an area described as troublesome by local residents. Plus, at least 100 free haircuts and braids were provided as part of the Confident Cuts campaign’s 7th year in St. James Town. Organized by The Kickback, the not-for-profit initiative enlisted 15 barbers and 10 braiders to offer 100 haircuts and 40 braiding services to youth from underserved Toronto communities.
