As parents get set to send their kids back to school, a study led by the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre and based on patient data from the Montreal Children’s Hospital, shows that introducing peanuts into a person’s diet before the age of three has helped reduce allergies. The study’s lead author and allergy and immunology specialist at the Montreal Children’s Hospital, Dr. Moshe Ben-Shoshan joins Global News Morning’s host Laura Casella with the results and what they mean for parents.
