A fight is brewing in eastern Canada between local politicians and the federal government over a narrow strip of marshland that’s said to be hanging on by a thread. The Isthmus of Chignecto is a sliver of land connecting Nova Scotia to New Brunswick – and because of rising sea levels, it’s in danger of disappearing. But as Heidi Petracek reports, protecting it carries a massive price tag.
