There are renewed calls for restaurants to be able to charge no-show fees. The Quebec Hotel Association is adding its voice to repeated demands to crack down on people not honouring their reservations. As Global’s Felicia Parrillo explains, Quebec is the only province in Canada not to allow restaurant owners to charge someone for not showing up.
