An off-duty officer was shot in the leg Saturday night after he recognized a suspect wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for attempted murder. The off-duty officer was in the area of Bathurst and King streets just after 11:30 p.m. Saturday when he saw the wanted man and called for on-duty officers to respond, police said. Kayla McLean reports. One person is in hospital and three are under arrest in relation to a shooting in the city’s east end last night. It happened around 10:30 p.m. Saturday night near Danforth Ave. and Main St. Police responded to a report of gun shots and found a person at the scene with a gun shot wound.
