Communities across the western U.S. and Canada have been under siege from raging wildfires in recent days. In rural Idaho, a fast moving wildfire sparked by lightning sent people fleeing on roads ringed with towering flames. While in Oregon, a firefighting aircraft crashed Friday, killing the pilot. As Bianca Facchinei reports, a human-caused inferno in California has erupted, becoming one of the largest in the state’s history.
