Federal government announce $426M in B.C. health care funding

The federal government is providing $ 426 million to support health care in B.C. as part of two bilateral agreements with the province. $ 232 million will help improve recruitment and retention for nearly 13,000 healthcare assistants in long-term care and assisted living until 2029.
