Description

The LCBO and the union representing about 9,000 workers reached a tentative agreement Saturday to end a strike that began two weeks ago. The agreement requires ratification from members — but if approved, it will see stores reopen Tuesday morning. Plus, as temperatures soar across much of western Canada with a lingering heatwave blanketing almost half the country, dozens of blazes are being sparked and putting thousands at risk.
