Steve MacKinnon sworn in as Labour minister after Seamus O’Regan resignation

Gatineau MP Steve MacKinnon assumed the role as Canada’s Minister of Labour and Seniors after being sworn in officially on Friday. This comes after longtime civil servant – and close friend of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau – Seamus O’Regan resigned from the role, citing personal reasons.
