The union representing WestJet’s aircraft maintenance engineers announced Friday that members have ratified a collective bargaining agreement following strike action that left thousands of customers grounded over the Canada Day long weekend. WestJet says the ratification vote solidifies a five-year agreement reached with the Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association (AMFA) union earlier this month.
