In a daily update on Calgary’s water situation on Saturday, Mayor Jyoti Gondek revealed that the feeder main pipe, which was recently repaired after weeks of efforts, was filled as of 6 p.m. (MT) on Friday, putting Calgarians one step closer to leaving their ongoing water-saving efforts behind them. Gondek said the water will need to be flushed next and then Alberta Health Services can begin testing the water quality.
