Vermont man arrested for giving state trooper the finger wins $239K settlement

A driver in Vermont who was arrested for giving a police trooper the middle finger will be paid a US$175,000 (about $239,500) settlement from the state. A judge ruled the arrest violated Gregory Bombard’s First Amendment rights.
