‘I was scared to death’: Canadian veteran recalls D-Day

Some Canadian veterans have travelled to Juno Beach to mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day, when the Allied invasion of Normandy turned the tide of the Second World War. Dawna Friesen speaks with Retired Capt. William Wilson about why making the trip was important to him. She also looks back on her recent conversation with Retired Capt. Bill Cameron, who suddenly died last week, about what he experienced during that crucial day in history.
