Quebec reaches tentative deal with farmers
Description
June 3, 2024
After months of protests over rising costs and thin profit margins, Quebec and farmers have reached an agreement to give the sector a much-needed boost. In a meeting with Quebec's farmers’ union, the government offered several relief measures. But as Global’s Gloria Henriquez reports, farmers won't commit to end their protests until the ink is dry.
