Deaf community makes urgent appeal for more interpreters

As we mark the end of National Accessibility Week, the deaf and hard of hearing community in Quebec says it is facing many challenges, notably a lack of interpreters. Cynthia Benoit, CSO of the Visual and Tactile Interpretation Service known as SIVET, and ASL-ENGLISH Interpreter, Liz Scully, join Global News Morning’s host Laura Casella to raise awareness about the profession and a call to action.
