Vancouver re-launches ‘Alcohol on Beaches’ pilot project

Starting June 1st, adult beachgoers will once again be allowed to legally consume alcohol at some Vancouver beaches. Amit Gandha, Director of Parks at the Vancouver Park Board, discusses why they’re relaunching the ‘Alcohol on Beaches’ pilot program, and how they’ll be dealing with concerns around disorderly behaviour, and increased garbage.
