Ted Dawes is going to camp atop a Peterborough grocery store one last time in support of leukemia and lymphoma research.
On Thursday Dawes climbed onto the roof of Morello’s Your Independent Grocer on Lansdowne St. East. He will camp out on the roof until Sunday, May 19.
Below volunteers will host a barbecue, silent auction and collect donations.
This is the 20th anniversary and will be what Dawes says his last Victoria Day long weekend rooftop campout.
Since its inception, more than $400,000 has been raised.
Caley Bedore caught up with Dawe live during Global Peterborough’s 6 p.m. newscast on May 16.
