Orcas strike again: Yacht sinks in the Strait of Gibraltar

A pod of orcas rammed another yacht sailing through the Strait of Gibraltar until it began taking on water and sank on Sunday. Two people were onboard the vessel, called the Alboran Cognac, and radioed for help. They were eventually rescued. This incident, part of a string of orca encounters off the coast of Spain, has raised significant concerns about the potential risks these marine mammals pose to sailors.
