Montreal is world famous for its annual fireworks festival, but some fear it does more harm than good. Some shows got cancelled last summer at the peak of Quebec’s wildfire season, due to air quality concerns. Now, a new study is shedding light on the environmental impact and the findings may be surprising to some. Global’s Dan Spector reports.
