Opening Portage and Main “the right move”, advocate says

On Friday, University of Winnipeg urban geography professor Jino Distasio and Adam Dooley, chair of the ‘Vote Open’ campaign during the 2018 plebiscite, commented on Thursday’s vote in favour of opening the Portage and Main intersection. “The mayor is on the right track re-routing trucks away from downtown,” Distasio said.
