Speaking in the House of Commons on Tuesday, Bloc Québécois MP Alain Therrien questioned whether Quebec will have the right to opt out of full compensation with pharmacare, a proposed national health coverage program. Health Minister Mark Holland responded that the federal government was focused on increasing the quality of health care for Canadians, and that the objective can only be reached through the “spirit of co-operation.”
