Gerald Rainville is a Bonsai legend, the first Westerner to train with a master in Japan, now continuing his devotion to the art decades later. Here's Jay Durant with This is BC.
The Canadian Society for Asian Arts is sponsoring Bonsai: The Art and Magic of Small Trees, displayed in downtown Vancouver at the MNP Tower Lobby, 1021 West Hastings Street.
