Ron DeSantis posted on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, that he is “suspending” his U.S. presidential campaign and endorsing Republican candidate Donald Trump instead. “It's clear to me that a majority of Republican primary voters want to give Donald Trump another chance,” DeSantis said. “He has my endorsement because we can't go back to the old Republican Guard of yesteryear."
