Edmonton encampment legal battle in court as Rowland Road camp residents resist removal

A human rights group is suing the City of Edmonton over how it handles homeless encampments but the city asserts they’re dangerous. The legal battle arrived in court on the same day of a standoff between clean-up crews and residents of one such camp.
