He said, “Iranian regime must be held accountable.” Trudeau announced that Canada, along with its international partners Ukraine, the U.K., and Sweden, has initiated dispute-settlement proceedings against Iran before the International Civil Aviation Organization Council. The proceedings have been initiated under the Chicago Convention, which sets out the core rules and standards for safe global air travel.
