An Ontario Superior Court Judge ruled that a Hamilton, Ont. man was not criminally responsible for the 2022 stabbing death of noted Niagara winemaker Paul Pender. In front of the Cayuga courthouse after the Jan. 3, 2024 decision, Bradley House’s lawyer Beth Bromberg said her client is “still shocked” by what happened and insists he wants “to get the help he needs.”
