Wind and rain forced the cancellation of all evening sailings between Metro Vancouver and Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast on Christmas Day. People who became estranged from their families when they came out of the closet held a Christmas meal together in North Delta. Hopes of saving a bear cub found at the side of the highway on Vancouver Island are fading.
