Work is already well underway for the construction of the new Jacques-Bizard bridge. And while it is expected to improve the commute for Île-Bizard residents, Montreal borough and suburban mayors in the area argue a fourth north-south artery on the Montreal side of the bridge is needed to alleviate congestion.
