Canada’s Defence Minister reassures support for Ukraine amid Conservative party’s voting decisions

Liberal MP Julie Dzerowicz from Davenport expressed concern over the Conservative party’s recent voting decisions against aid and trade agreements with Ukraine. Minister for National Defense Bill Blair acknowledged the issue and highlighted Canada’s ongoing support for Ukraine through Operation Unifier, which includes training and supplying Ukrainian troops with necessary equipment. “We will stand up for Ukraine, even if the conservatives cut and run,” he added.
