Fatal crash closes section of Hwy 115 south of Peterborough: OPP

One person is dead and another injured following a crash on Hwy. 115 south of Peterborough on Wednesday morning.
Peterborough County OPP say a northbound pickup truck collided with a commercial motor vehicle and then struck a guard-rail.
The truck’s passenger door was torn off and an occupant was thrown from the vehicle which ended up in the centre median.
OPP say a 34-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Another person was taken to hospital.

A section of Hwy. 115 south of Peterborough was closed Wednesday morning following a single-vehicle crash.
Just before 9 a.m., emergency crews responded to reports of a pickup truck which went off the highway and into OPP closed the highway between Hwy. 7A and County Road 10 in Cavan-Monaghan Township as they investigated.
