Tue, Mar 11: This week is Canadian Agriculture Safety Week, to mark it, a one-day workshop meant to help improve safety on farms was held today in Greenwich, Kings County, the heart of Nova Scotia’s prime agricultural area. The focus was on improving communication between farmers and migrant workers. An important lesson as every year, thousands of seasonal agriculture workers travel to Canada.
