Thur, Feb 19 – Metro Vancouver residents will be voting on a transit referendum. Vancouver’s not the first region to vote on whether to increase taxes to pay for future transportation projects. Denver, Colorado has gone to the vote not once, but twice. What can the “Yes” campaign learn from the Denver Regional Transportation ? Aaron McArthur spoke with Pauletta Tonilas, the senior manager of public relations for the Denver Regional Transportation District on lessons learned.
