Should libraries be allowed to expel visitors over bad hygiene?
Description
November 24, 2023
New regulations governing conduct are being implemented in libraries across Montreal. They give officials authority to ask people to leave if they don't respect a code of conduct which includes proper hygiene. But critics fear the new rules mean vulnerable people such as unhoused visitors will end up being targeted. Global's Phil Carpenter reports.
