A new musical experience aims to shine light on the challenges of mental health is hitting the stage this winter in Peterborough.
Music, stories and ambience aim to draw out emotions at the inaugural “Harmony for Healing” event in February.
All proceeds will help the local Canadian Mental Health Association’s assertive outreach suicide prevention program.
For the show’s organizer, Phillip Jolicoeur, the struggles of mental health is an issue that hits close to home after his mother died by suicide.
The show aims to raise $50,000 for the program over the next five years. The event will be held Feb. 22, 2024 at the Market Hall Performing Arts Centre in Peterborough. For more details visit harmonyforhealing.ca
