St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School in Douro, Ont., celebrated its new addition on Saturday.
Local officials cut the ribbon on a nearly 6,800-square foot add-on that includes four new classrooms, a library, a staff room, and other site improvements.
Construction took place during the last school year and summer break after the Ministry of Education announced the $3.2-million project in July 2020.
The school also received a blessing for the Peterborough Bishop Daniel Miehm.
