Trudeau ‘not looking to escalate’ tensions with India after 41 Canadian diplomats ordered out
Description
October 3, 2023
The Indian government has given 41 Canadian diplomats until next week to get out of India, as the diplomatic dispute between the two nations deepens. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's alleged there was "credible evidence" India was involved in the killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a Canadian Sikh leader. Eric Sorensen explains what a reduction in diplomatic staff could mean, and how India Prime Minister Narendra Modi seemingly reacts to criticism.
