Trouble at the airport began the week before Christmas when an intense snowstorm grounded planes and resulted in a massive wave of delays and cancellations.

Vrooman said YVR lifted the restriction on inbound international flights Friday morning. The restriction affected about 30 flights across 17 airlines.
