Friday marked the reopening of Yorath House. The two-storey home was built in 1949 and lived in by the Yorath family until 1992, when it was sold to the city. It was designated a Municipal Historic Resource in 2015.

The Yorath House is a single-family house in the River Valley Capitol Hill neighbourhood in the city’s southwest. It sits in the Buena Vista Park, was built in 1949 and sold to the city in 1992.
